F1 Grand Prix Tours can provide you with a great opportunity to experience the 2010 FORMULA 1 QANTAS AUSTRALIAN GRAND PRIX, as well as the sights, sounds and people of Melbourne. We can offer you a superior 4 star hotel (Australian grading), combined with a choice of general admission or grandstand race tickets, to form the basis of a unforgettable 2010 Australian Formula 1 travel package.

You must book a minimum of 3 nights, which may be extended on request to give you more time to explore Melbourne and its vicinity.

Please note that due to the great free local F1 circuit tram services, to and from the Albert Park Grand Prix circuit, we do not offer our normal coach circuit transfers for Australian Grand Prix. The hotel we have on offer is extremely well and conveniently located, only a mere 3.5 km from the Albert Park circuit.

MELBOURNE, VICTORIA AS A TRAVEL DESTINATION

Victoria is the smallest of the Australian mainland states and is situated in the southeastern corner of Australia. With a population of over 4.6 million, Victoria is the most densely populated and highly urbanised of all the Australian states. Featuring everything from beaches and rugged mountains in the high snowy country, to lakes and white water streams. Whether it is history, adventure, entertainment or relaxation, Victoria has it all.

Victoria's capital is Melbourne with an approximate population of 3,4 million people. Melbourne is set around the shores of the Port Phillip Bay. The city itself, laid out in a large rectangle and boasting a lively and cosmopolitan pulse, sits on the northern banks of the Yarra River, about five kilometres from the bay. Extending around the bay, are a number of inner suburbs, each with its own distinct character and personality. A short tram ride from the city centre into Melbourne's suburban neighbourhoods is a "must see" for anyone wanting to experience what life here is really all about.
