THE EVENT

The circuit
The Moto Grand Prix of Portugal is hosted by the challenging Estoril Circuit, located approximately 30 km from Lisbon and its generally warm and dry weather makes it a regular choice for some of the MotoGp pre-season testing sessions.
This 4,2 km circuit is one of the most challenging circuits on the current Motogp calendar and features some long corners, heavy braking zones, bumpy straights and a difficult and very slow first gear chicane on the back section.

Race tickets
We have included a ticket choice between Grandstands A, B or H in our tour package, but subject to availability we can offer you any other Grandstand of preference. Grandstands A and B are situated just before and just after the start/finish line and offers you big screen TV viewing and the easiest access to shops and food. Grandstand A is the only covered grandstand on the circuit.
Grandstand H is situated on the last corner - a big action point at Estoril. The stand offers you great views of the final corner, but unfortunately without big screen TV viewing.

Hotel accommodation
For the 2012 MotoGP of Portugal we can offer you an exciting travel package featuring a great 3 star beach hotel located in the beautiful and tranquil port of Cascais. The hotel is conveniently located on the beachfront and a easy 10 minute stroll to a great variety of restaurants, bars and shops. The rooms are pleasant and modern and other amenities include a roof top pool and bar featuring fantastic sea views, as well as a popular restaurant serving traditional Portuguese and international cuisine. The hotel is located only 10 km from the Estoril circuit – making it a great choice for the Portuguese MotoGP.

Tour services
Our ground staff will take care of you from the moment you land in Estoril - we will collect you from the airport; and take you to the hotel, where you will spend 3 nights inclusive of breakfast. On the Friday evening we have a great opening party, which is always one of the real highlights of the weekend - in addition to drinks and a light buffet, we will have one or two special guests giving us their inside view on the MotoGP season. Saturday and Sunday we go to the Estoril circuit and back and our guides will be on hand throughout the weekend to ensure that tour runs smoothly.
